CRPTF Names CIO

The $22.4 billion Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds has appointed Lee Ann Palladino as its new CIO.

The $22.4 billion Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds (CRPTF) has appointed Lee Ann Palladino as its new CIO, Pensions & Investments reports. Formerly deputy CIO, Palladino also served as interim-CIO and chief of the Connecticut pension funds management unit for the last six months after M. Timothy Corbett stepped down from his role.

Corbett had been working as CIO of the Connecticut system since July 2009. He resigned from his post to join financial services provider Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance as executive vice president and CIO. The Connecticut system comprises six state pension funds and eight state trust funds.
