Millennium BCP, owned by Banco Comercial Portugues, is selling a portfolio of loans worth €1.6 billion, Reuters reports. The portfolio consists of European, North American and Latin American project financing loans and corporate loans. The portfolio consists of €407.7 million of Spanish loans, $373.41 million of U.S. loans and €681 million of European loans and a few Brazilian and U.S. loans. The U.S. loans are from a variety of projects and the largest loan for sale is a €112 million loan to world’s largest marine and rail terminal operator, Carrix.
