Richard Lindquist has joined Morgan Stanley as head of high-yield products and portfolios in its investment management division, The Wall Street Journal reports. Handling approximately $1.7 billion in assets, he reports to Michael Kushma, the division’s CIO of global fixed income.
Lindquist will join the fixed-income strategy group, as well as the portfolio managers handling the firm’s European-currencies high-yield bond fund and the flexible income trust fund. In addition, he will boost the firm’s high-yield capabilities, including high-yield research. Most recently, Lindquist was with privately held global financial services firm Guggenheim Partners, as managing director and co-head of U.S. high-yield.
