Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has hired James Carver as investment director of absolute-return bond funds, effective October 7, Pensions & Investments reports. He will take over his new responsibilities from Neil Murray, global head of credit on Swip’s absolute-return bond strategies.
Carver will be based in Edinburgh and will be reporting to Graeme Caughey, global head of rates. Previously, he was an emerging markets debt portfolio manager at Aberdeen Asset Management.
