Jefferies has appointed Daniel Gilman as a managing director in municipal securities trading. In his new role at the global securities and investment banking firm, Gilman will be based in New York.

Most recently, he was working with Fundamental Advisors as co-head of investments. He has previously also worked with Citigroup, Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
