HSBC has named John Saunders as head of commodity and structured trade finance for its Australian division, The Wall Street Journal reports. Saunders will join in the newly created role from BNP Paribas Fortis, where he was a senior relationship manager.
He will report to HSBC Australia’s head of trade and supply chain Andrew Skinner, adds Financial Standard. Saunders has also worked with Fortis Bank and Netherlands-based private bank MeesPierson
