The $79.7 billion State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), Madison, U.S., has allocated $420 million to five private equity vehicles, Pensions & Investments reports. The board, in charge of managing the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), the State Investment Fund (SIF) and other state trust funds, allocated $100 million each to Green Equity Investors VI, Providence Equity Partners VII and Vista Equity Partners Fund IV.
The board also committed $70 million to OCM European Principal Fund III and $50 million to Kohlberg Investors VII. The funds were selected with the help of private equity advisor StepStone Group.
