Maria Ramos-Coelho, president of the Brazilian bank, Caixa, is resigning from his current position, The Wall Street Journal reports. He is leaving the firm to take up a role as Brazil’s representative at the Inter-American Development Bank. At Caixa, Ramos-Coelho will be replaced by the vice president for its government operations, Jorge Hereda. Caixa is Brazil’s main state-run providers of home mortgages and construction and urban-development financing.
