Liongate Capital Management has appointed Richard Teisch as the new U.S. director of its investment research team, Pensions & Investments reports. He is joining the $3 billion hedge fund-of-funds manager in a newly created position.

Teisch will lead U.S. hedge fund manager research and report to global head of research Ben Funk. Teisch is joining the firm from alternative investment consultant Cliffwater, where he was managing director and headed long/short equity research.
