Alcatel-Lucent is seeking to sell its business that sells phones and other telecom gear to corporations, The Wall Street Journal reports. The Franco-American company’s business is expected to be valued at $1.5 billion or more. The company’s other options include an initial public offering of stock. Possible buyers for the business include Microsoft or Hewlett-Packard, telecom-gear maker, Ericsson, and private equity firms.
