Czech and Slovak private equity fund, Penta Investments, has offered to acquire heating-network operator, SPEC, Bloomberg reports. Warsaw, which is selling the heating network for more than $265 million, has received about 10-20 bids. The other prospective bidders include Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo, Dalkia and Fortum. The Warsaw city government has appointed Bank Zachodni WBK to advice on the process.
