The London Stock Exchange (LSE) may look at introducing a trading platform in France, Reuters reports citing French daily La Tribune. The platform will be meant for small to mid-sized companies.
The exchange has been approached by French companies after Euronext’s exit from the French small and medium enterprises (SME) market. The LSE runs the alternative investment market in London which permits smaller firms to offer shares in a more elastic regulatory environment relative to the main market.
