Slovenia’s NLB Sells €89M Shares

Nova Ljubljanska Banka has raised around €89 million in sale of new shares.

Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) has raised around €89 million in sale of new shares, Reuters reports. The Slovenian lender sold around 35.7% of its new share issue to existing investors. The Slovenian government bought around €83 million of NLB shares, while Belgian banking and insurance group, KBC, acquired about €5 million shares. The Ljubljana-based bank rolled out a €250 million share issue earlier in this month to boost its capital based ahead of EU stress tests.
