Australian financial services firm Macquarie has expanded its equities research division with the appointment of a new senior mining analyst, FINS reports. Jeff Largey has been appointed as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa metals and mining research.
Based in London, he will work under Julian Wentzel, the region’s head of research. Previously, Largey was an analyst at Nomura and has also worked at JP Morgan. The firm has also appointed Aldo Mazzaferro as a senior steel, metals and mining analyst, Liz Dunn as a senior consumer analyst and Tom Alonso as head of the U.S. banks research team.
