UPS Capital is opening new offices in Bogota, Colombia, and Lima in Peru. The new offices expand the firm’s Latin American locations, which comprise existing representative offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico. The Peru and Colombia branches of the firm will offer specific kinds of loans to qualified businesses in the nations to finance the import of capital goods and inventory components. The financial services arm of UPS is planning to benefit from the growing imports in these countries.
