Ashu Garg has been promoted as general partner by California-based Foundation Capital. Garg has experience in sales and marketing across both enterprise and consumer operations, and has helped in delivering on the venture capital firm’s early-stage venture investment strategy.
He is on the boards of analytics and tracking platform firm Aggregate Knowledge, education services firm Aspire Human Capital Management, technology leader in Internet video distribution Conviva and video marketing company TubeMogul, among others. Previously, he served at Microsoft’s online services business as a general manager handling the strategy and business management for the digital advertising solutions business group.
