Friends Life has appointed Colin Tipping as director of unit-linked investment, Citywire reports. In his new role, Tipping will be in charge of unit-linked investments across Friends Life’s corporate benefits unit. Tipping will work under Colin Williams, director of corporate at Friends Life and will head the provider’s investment governance, proposition strategy and fund services, managing the existing fund strategy and selection group. Formerly, he served as head of institutional wholesale at BlackRock.
