Jason McCarthy has been appointed head of middle-office operations by hedge fund administrator SS&C Technologies Holdings, FINalternatives reports. Colm O’Brien and Halley Carlson have also joined SS&C’s fund services team.
O’Brien joins as a senior sales executive from Investec, whereas Carlson joins the group as sales executive after moving from the firm’s financial markets group. Previously, McCarthy worked with Goldman Sachs Group, UBS, Barclays Bank and Bank of Tokyo. He also ran his own middle-office firm JMC Hedge Fund Services.
