Cheevers & Company has appointed John Barone as vice president of institutional sales and trading. In his new role, Barone will be responsible for trading execution, sales and client service efforts of the agency-only brokerage firm’s trading desk.
Most recently, he served at Melvin & Company as director of equity sales and trading. Prior to that, he worked at William Blair & Company as a principal and equity trader.
