Mexican cement maker Cemex has canceled its planned bond offering worth $650 million, Bloomberg reports. The company shelved the sale because of volatility in global markets. The Monterrey-based company had initially planned to sell the securities to repay debt from a $15 billion bank loan refinancing in 2009. The eight year notes were being offered to yield around 9.5%.
