European Investment Bank (EIB) has appointed Wilhelm Molterer as vice-president and member of its management committee. He will replace Eva Srejber, whose term as vice president has ended.
He was hired by the EIB’s board of governors on a proposal from the Finance Minister of the Republic of Austria and with the agreement of the constituency formed by Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Sweden. Prior to EIB, Molterer was an Austrian member of parliament, holding a variety of political positions for several years.
