Newell Rubbermaid has set up the Newell Rubbermaid Foundation to boost its impact in communities. With a five-year endowment goal of $25 million, the foundation will serve as its prime vehicle for charitable contributions and will aim at funding educational opportunities for children and young adults.
Jackie Parker, vice president of corporate philanthropy for Newell Rubbermaid, has been named as the president of the foundation. The global marketer of consumer and commercial products has also previously made contributions to United Way and the National Center for Civil & Human Rights.
