Plenum Investments is looking to expand its energy trading by starting a hedge fund focused on continental Europe, Bloomberg reports. The new vehicle, which targets assets of $347 million, will trade German and French power futures, Dutch natural gas, emissions and coal. The continental energy fund will be managed by Trond Jensen, who will join Plenum from Norway’s European Commodity Management. About 70% of assets will be invested in a quantitative model.
