DB Advisors has purchased Standard Life Investments’ (SLI) money market assets worth about $5 billion, Pensions & Investments reports. DB Advisors acquired $3.3 billion of sterling-denominated, $1.8 billion of euro-denominated and $200 million of dollar-denominated assets.
The assets were managed on behalf of corporate and municipal treasury clients. The assets are expected to be combined with DB Advisors’ existing funds. DB Advisors will now have about $125 billion in cash assets under management.
