The Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System (PMRS) is planning to search for three new equity managers, Pensions and Investments reports. The Harrisburg-based retirement system will hire the managers to handle $240-250 million in active international equities.
The system’s incumbent international equity managers are Mercator Asset Management, which manages $43 million, and growth managers GlobeFlex Capital and Wentworth, Hauser & Violich, which oversee about $135 million and $65 million, respectively. All the managers can re-apply, when the system will issue a RFP.
