Axis Mutual Fund has rolled out a new three year close-ended income portfolio, India Infoline reports. The Axis Hybrid Fund Series 1 seeks to generate income by investing in high quality fixed income securities and create capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments.

The subscription of the new scheme, which offers dividend and growth options, will be open from July 28 to August 11. The portfolio will be benchmarked against the Crisil MIP Blended Index and will be managed by R Sivakumar and Jinesh Gopani.
