Wedbush Securities has appointed Douglas Whitaker as managing director and director of its consumer investment banking unit. In his new role, he will be based out of Wedbush’s Phoenix, Arizona, office.
Prior to joining Wedbush, Whitaker was a senior banker at Piper Jaffray. In his previous role, he managed over 50 public equity financings and numerous advisory engagements for a range of consumer-driven businesses.
