The Walton Family Foundation has committed a total of $15 million to California’s state charter school association, Los Angeles Times reports. The money will be used to add 20,000 more charter school students in Los Angeles and 100,000 statewide. The grant is the largest to the California Charter Schools Association. The Walton foundation, a non-profit organization, was created by the founders of Wal-Mart.
