Futures and options broker MF Global Holdings is realigning its global equities business. The firm will concentrate on commodities, financial services, consumer and global policy research.
MF Global is also looking to slash its equity sales, trading and research staff in Europe and Asia by more than 30 percent, adds The Wall Street Journal. The job cuts, which are also part of the realignment, will affect 50 to 60 employees.
