Horizons Exchange Traded Funds has rolled out two equity exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with affiliate AlphaPro Management. The Horizons Enhanced Income U.S. Equity ETF and the Horizons Enhanced Income International Equity ETF will provide Canadian investors access to an innovative covered call strategy on the U.S. and International stocks, respectively.
The U.S. equity fund will invest in a portfolio of equity and equity-related securities of the U.S. companies that are among the largest and most liquid issuers on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or Nasdaq. The international equity ETF will invest in a portfolio of equity and equity-related securities of companies that are among the largest and most liquid non-North American based issuers on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), NYSE or Nasdaq. JovInvestment Management will be investment adviser to the funds, which will be traded on TSX.
