Embrane has secured $18 million in series-B venture capital financing. The investment round was led by New Enterprise Associates, while existing investors, such as Lightspeed Venture Partners and North Bridge Ventures, also participated.
The company will use the funding for the expansion of virtual network services as well as to ramp up sales and marketing. NEA partner Pete Sonsini will join the Embrane’s board of director along with managing director at Lightspeed John Vrionis, partner at North Bridge Paul Santinelli and independent board member Bob Finocchio.
