Index-based liquid alternative investment solutions developer, IndexIQ, is launching a new global oil small-cap exchange-traded fund (ETF). The IQ Global Oil Small Cap ETF is designed to provide exposure to companies that are primarily engaged in the oil industry, including firms involved in exploration and production.

The new portfolio tracks the performance of the IQ Global Oil Small Cap Index, a float-adjusted and market capitalization-weighted index. The company has listed its small cap ETF on the NYSE Arca.
