FrontPoint Partners has completed its spin-off from U.S. lender, Morgan Stanley, Pensions & Investments reports. The bank will own a minority interest in FrontPoint, while its senior management and portfolio managers will own a majority interest. The spin-off was made to fulfill the requirements of Volcker Rule provision of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The financial terms of the spinoff were not disclosed.
