General Mills, an official supplier to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, will be included in the Dow Jones Summer/Winter Games Index. The index will measure the performance of all publicly traded securities of companies that are official partners, sponsors or suppliers of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
The index, reviewed quarterly in March, June, September and December, will not see elimination of any components. The addition to the index will raise the number of components from 37 to 38 with effect from September 16.
