The Jewish Community Foundation has received a total of $3.4 billion for charitable purposes. The foundation got the money from philanthropists Raymond Kornfeld and Shirley Kornfeld.
The contributors are long-time supporter of the foundation, which is a charitable assets manager based in California. The money will help create the Raymond and Shirley Kornfeld Endowment Fund, which will support educational and medical causes.
