The Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions to play a more active role in the oversight of the commodity derivatives market. A report by the committee stated that IOSCO is considering placing its work on commodities markets on a “more permanent basis” within the organization, as it lay out its future plans, which includes among other things the creation of a trade repository for commodity derivatives.
