Fidelity has rolled out the CB Richard Ellis U.K. Property Fund on its defined contribution platform (DC), Professional Pensions reports. The vehicle is structured as a property authorized investment fund, a tax efficient vehicle for U.K. property investors with a dedicated feeder fund to provide DC investors with liquidity.
Fidelity intends to use the fund as the property component in a larger diversified, blended white-labeled fund. Fidelity’s DC platform has a U.K. bricks and mortar fund run by Threadneedle, hybrid property funds run by Standard Life Investments and L&G Investment Management and global REITs funds run by Invesco and Fidelity.
