Ghana has raised $215 million by selling a 1.28% stake in AngloGold Ashanti, Bloomberg reports. The government sold 4.88 million shares of the African gold producer to South African and international investors. With the latest sale, the West African nation is left with a 1.72% stake in AngloGold. Ghana was issued the shares in April 2004 when AngloGold and Ashanti Goldfields merged.
