The National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) has elected Paul Maeder to a one-year term as chairman of the board of directors. Maeder is co-founder and general partner of Highland Capital Partners.
In his new role, he has succeeded Kate Mitchell, managing general partner of Scale Venture Partners. Prior to co-founding Highland, Maeder served as general partner at Charles River Ventures and has also held operating roles in high-growth technology companies.
