Northern Trust Corp. has added an Alternative Funds -Fund Valuation Status Summary for custody clients to its reporting suite. This can be accessed via Northern Trust’s online portal Passport. The Fund Valuation Status Summary provides specific data on several fund types, including commingled funds, unitized hedge funds, money market funds, Canadian pooled funds, unitized real estate funds and other alternative unitized funds. Northern Trust represents more than $360 billion in assets for about 4,000 clients, managing their private equity and alternative fund interests.
