Nikko Asset Management Group has appointed Eleanor Seet as president and executive director of the firm’s Singapore and South-east Asian operations, Asian Investor reports. The move follows the rebranding of DBS Asset Management as Nikko Asset Management Asia. Seet has succeeded Deborah Ho, who was CEO of DBS Asset Management.
Before joining Nikko AM Asia, Seet was senior director at IShares, private wealth distribution, Asia ex-Japan, between June 2009 and August 2010. The firm has also appointed Tokyo head of operations and disclosure Teck Keng Neo as head of middle and back office in Singapore. Rodney Lim will be the new head of compliance, joining from UBS Global Asset Management.
