Tyre and cable manufacturer Pirelli has appointed Cardano as fiduciary manager, Financial News reports. The Dutch-owned pension manager will run the U.K. pension schemes’ £600 million in assets.
Cardano will be responsible for keeping the fund solvent, hedging its liabilities and employing and sacking fund managers. Previously, the Pirelli funds took advice from Mercer.
