Fund of hedge funds manager, Tradex Global Advisors, has launched a range of hedge fund performance benchmarks, Hedge Funds Review Magazine reports. The Tradex Global High Quality Proprietary Indices will seek to provide accurate representation of industry returns than existing indexes.

The set of indexes will track the performance of about 500 hedge funds across 20 underlying strategies with individual strategy indexes consisting of 15-50 hedge funds. Tradex is also planning to construct single strategy investable index products for investors based on the Tradex Global High Quality Proprietary Indices.
