Clayton Dubilier & Rice is seeking to buy Hartford Financial Services Group’s mutual fund business.

Clayton Dubilier & Rice is seeking to buy Hartford Financial Services Group’s mutual fund business, Bloomberg reports. The sale of the business is expected to fetch around $1.5 billion or more.

Affiliated Managers Group and Tokyo-based Nomura Holdings had also previously showed interest in the unit. The business at present has over 50 mutual funds and $104 billion in assets under management.
