Lloyds Banking Group has agreed to reimburse around £500 million to its mortgage customers, Financial Times reports. Around 300,000 customers with mortgages sold under the Halifax brand between 2004 and 2007 are due to get payments. The London-based lender is also providing £250 to customers who were covered by the cap, but may not have been clear on the exact terms. The payments were agreed voluntarily with the Financial Services Authority.
