Reliance Equity May Launch $300M Fund

Reliance Equity Advisors is planning to roll out a $250-300 million fund by the end of 2011.

Reliance Equity Advisors is planning to roll out a $250-300 million fund by the end of 2011, The Wall Street Journal reports. The fund will be raised from overseas investors. The firm is currently investing its $220 million domestic fund, which had raised money from institutions and others. The private equity unit of Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group plans to deploy about 60% of the fund by the end of 2011.
