Growing concerns that use of derivatives will lead to another financial crisis are unjustified, according to Laurent Crosnier, ceo of Amundi London. Crosnier was responding comments earlier this week by Mark Mobius of Templeton Asset Management that derivatives would be the cause of a fresh crisis. Crosnier said investment professionals have taken steps in the past two to three years to limit the potential negative impact from derivatives.
