Putnam Investments has introduced three new retirement income funds along with a planning tool. These are Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 1, Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 2 and Putnam Retirement Income Fund Lifestyle 3. These funds are meant for retired or soon-to-retire investors or those who intend to start withdrawing their invested funds in the near future.
The funds include domestic and global equities, convertible and fixed-income securities. The Putnam Absolute Return Funds, which help in volatility management during the drawdown period, are also a part of these new funds. The Putnam Retirement Income Analysis Tool will help advisors suggest retirement solutions from the new funds.
