The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, has awarded an active international small-cap equities mandate of $650 million to three managers, Pensions & Investments reports. Franklin Templeton, Pyramis Global Advisors and Dimensional Fund Advisors are the selected managers. The mandate is expected to be funded in part with assets from an international equity portfolio managed by Acadian Asset Management, which was terminated in August 2010 for diversification reasons. The $11.3 billion fund’s international small-cap equities allocation will make up 25% of its international equities portfolio, which had $2.99 billion, as of June 30.
