Merlin Securities has appointed Robert Garrett as senior partner and chief technology officer. He will be a member of the New York-based brokerage services and technology provider’s executive committee and will be based in the firm’s head office.

Garrett is joining Merlin from Deutsche Bank, where he was global head of execution services technology. Prior to this, he has also served at Bank of America, Sapient and AT&T.
